A Literary Escape to the Troodos Mountains

Head to mythical Cyprus for a dose of springtime bibliotherapy. As one of our ‘scholars in the sun’ Symposium, you’ll be part of our first media retreat in the shadow of the Troodos Mountains - the green heart of Cyprus, its pine covered slopes bathed in the Mediterranean light and spring blossom.
Itinerary: Day One: Fly London Heathrow airport at 09.30hrs direct to Pafos Airport with Cyprus Airways, arriving 15.55hrs local time. Transfer to Hotel Library (www.libraryhotelcyprus.com) in rural Kalavassos village for three nights. Relaxing dinner at the hotel. Day Two: Visit Tsiakkas Winery in Pelentri village on the eastern slopes of the panoramic Troodos Mountains for wine tasting. Follow a gentle guided walk to the Kaledonia Waterfall; enjoy a traditional Cypriot meal in a taverna in the village of Omodhos. Day Three: Visit Paphos Mosaics, next onto Ayii Anargyri, a natural healing spa resort in Miliou, one of the timeless villages not far from Paphos. Quiet dinner in a traditional village taverna. Day Four: . Symposium with local authors /scholars in the village at the Library Hotel. Transfer at 14.30hrs to Larnaca airport for CY326 - 1735hrs departure, arrival at LHR 2035hrs.
