The View from The Shard has announced a new programme of premium yoga experience sessions that will take place in its viewing gallery – 800ft above London.
Beginning Saturday7 June, celebrated yoga innovators Yogasphere will deliver eight weekly classes surrounded by stunning panoramic views of London for up to 40 miles.
While yogis of the past have tried to levitate to higher spheres, two high-speed lifts will take attendees to the highest accessible points of The Shard. After enjoying the breathtaking atmosphere of The View from The Shard, world-renowned yoga instructors Leo Lourdes and Mandy Jhamat will guide guests through their open-access calming mind and body yoga class.
In fine weather some classes may take place on the 72nd floor, which is set just below the shards of glass that top the building and is open to the elements, adding to the profound experience.
Yogasphere was founded by partners Mandy Jhamat (named “one of the UK’s top yoga teachers” by Marie Claire) and leading Harley Street wellbeing coach Leo Lourdes. As well as running classes and one-on-one sessions across London they host special yoga retreats across the world including Thailand and Costa Rica.
Classes are priced at £40 per person in advance, spaces are limited and booking is recommended: http://bit.ly/1nSEuZd
